The morning will consist of two rides, a jumping group and a non jumping group, both to be mounted by 10am please.
Join us all for a glass of fizz before both groups head off across some beautiful West Sussex countryside! Bucks Fizz will be available for those not used to the hard stuff at that time of the morning!
Both rides will separate after our sociable start, the jumping group will head off first lead by our jumping leader and take you over some traditional hunting and small timber fences, not all of these will be optional, but there won’t be anything too big.
We will then head across country and around various farms with different obstacles, you will also get a chance to jump a hedge or two if you would like. If the ground is hard we will be preparing the ground with treated landings and take offs.
You should arrive back after about an hour and a half so your horses will need to be fit.
The non jumping ride will be set at a slightly slower pace by our non jumping leader, but expect to walk, trot and canter, there will be some roads to cross but help will be at hand to ensure everyone’s safe crossing.
We should have some beautiful fields to canter across by then and plenty of private woodland to explore. This ride should last just over an hour and a half so your horses will need to be relatively fit.
For both rides we will have a leader (please do try not to over take, you could get lost!) and a tail end Charlie who’s job will be to offer help to anyone throughout the ride who needs it.
**THERE WILL BE NO MEDICAL COVER PROVIDED AT THIS EVENT**
Dress code: Safe and Smart, there will however be a prize for best turned out horse and rider! Therefore if you’d like to wear autumn hunting attire please do! (Tweed jackets and cream breeches!).
