***STOP PRESS*** MEETING CANCELLED
14/03/18 – THE C&H MEETING HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO WATERLOGGED GROUND.
Welcome to Parham Races, home to the Crawley & Horsham Steeplechases, where a long tradition of National Hunt racing stretches back 65 years. Parham ranks among the oldest tracks in the South East.
Sussex is a county with a great racing tradition. With Goodwood, Fontwell Park, Plumpton and Brighton on our doorstep, and Lingfield a stone’s throw away up the A23, we can justifiably claim to be a well-horsed county. Parham sits foursquare in a county hosting Jump trainers of the calibre of Gary Moore, Nick Gifford, Richard Rowe and Amanda Perrett. Racing is in our blood.
This year’s races promise great fun, with a new feature in the Gatwick Cup, a new trophy to adorn one of our races from a race that was last staged at Gatwick in 1940. Do come to give the race our own very special flypast.
Champion Chaser Sire de Grugy will parade between races, there is a parade of hounds and a popular dog show with loads of prizes. And of course there are loads of shops, oh, and a llama farm!
And last, we’ve introduced some hospitality. You can buy a table or individual places in our trackside chalet from just £60pp or £450 for a table of 8. Leave the picnic at home and join us for our Saturday Special!
